Why anyone who is serious about fitness should train in Thai Boxing

First and foremost, Thai boxing or Muay Thai as it’s really known as has to be the worlds most strictest fitness regime.

Nothing else quite comes as close to Thai boxing ‘The science of eight limbs’ can be both brutal and effective. The very essence of Thai boxing determines character in anyone who dare to study it.

Thai boxing has become popular though mix martial arts and UFC however Thai boxing has actually been taught in many American schools long before martial arts such as Brazilin Ju Jitsu and Krav Maga long before either arts became into existence.

But its not just its street effective that sets Thai boxing apart but its all out fitness needed to become good at this art.

I been training in martial arts for nearly 15 years but never found any martial arts as gruelling and demanding as Thai boxing even in its somewhat water down American version.

My opinion being that even at the late age of 50 you will still benefit from studying Thai boxing.

My two years experience of and starting age of 49 the all round martial arts ‘The science of eight limbs’ will teach you devastating kick, punches, knees and elbows.

So if you are a personal trainer, martial arts school my advice is teach Thai boxing to the young and old (especially the old) both for its fitness and self defence quality.

Thai boxing should be on everyone martial arts curriculum.
