Life is what you make it.
At the age of fifty, I am not what you would consider old or over the hill however here are 15 things in life I wish I had learned earlier. All I can say is if you don’t stop and look around at life you might just miss it altogether.
I wish I understood that having a mental illness is not funny.
I wish I learned martial arts as it is a necessary (essential) in today’s world.
I wish I had realized that money is not everything in life but it takes the sting out of being poor.
I wish I realized that it’s never too late to get an education.
I wish I had realized that friendship beats material gain every time.
I wish I had learned to play a musical instrument earlier in life.
I wish I had traveled somewhere different at least once a year.
Your biggest advocate in life is your family I wish I had kept them closer
I wish I understood that you should never forget where you came from.
I wish I had supported a charity earlier in life as one day I found out I needed one
I wish I had walked my own path sooner in life.
I wish I had put my name to something important
I wish I had looked after my health earlier in life
I wish I had learned to live and let live
I wish I had realized that having no friends is not funny either
